Impossible, The

Saw The Impossible – the apparently true story of a family on vacation when the 2004 tsunami hit – and how they survived and the human spirit and courage was exalted and such. Very good movie – very scary movie (and amazing FX and set designs for the wave and its aftermath). The acting was just killer (Naomi Watts and the kid who plays her oldest son, especially). Big hit on the flick, in my cynical opinion, was the last 20 minutes which started to just get emotionally manipulative (and waaaay too much coincidence) and then just dragged it on a bit much. But other, more human, people will probably dig the whole thing.
