Caught The Intern – the new Anne Hathaway / Robert DeNiro film about a retired man who accepts a senior internship at an Internet startup run by an overwhelmed boss. Hathaway plays the boss, DeNiro is the intern – gentle and good-natured comedy ensues. This is an immensely charming film that largely trades on the immense charm of DeNiro and Hathaway. Take them out and you have an amusing little thing, keep them in and you have a wealth of charisma to power a decent movie.

I rather recommend this film for its cast and for its charm, if I haven’t made that sufficiently clear. I laughed in it as well and found various things sweet and fun… I say check it out if you like DeNiro and Hathaway (and if you can get over whatever manufactured pop culture hatred of Hathaway exists).
