Saw a weird Tuesday showing of the new comedy This is the End starring Seth Rogan, James Franco, academy award nominee Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, and Jay Baruchel with special guest stars Emma Watson, Rihanna, a coked-up Michael Cera, Jason Segal, Aziz Asari, Mindy Kaling, and more. It’s honestly the most consistently funny movie I’ve seen in years – I loved it. It’s just a bunch of friends (playing themselves) messing around with a very raunchy over-the-top comedy about the end of the world and how these shallow Hollywood actors would handle it (not well – decisions on how to split the Milky Way were tough). I haven’t laughed this much or this hard in some time… and the ending was awesome. Just awesome. I left smiling.
