If you are a Kevin Smith standup fan, I checked out his latest – Kevin Smith: Silent, But Deadly. A show he put on right before going backstage where he had a massive “widowmaker” heart attack (which he survived and has lost 50 pounds since the filming).
Wish I could say this was one of his good shows… but 50% of it was just him talking about sex with his wife… and weed. It got tiresome… but the second half he talked about movies and tv directing (and Jason Mewes’ love of the CW shows). This second half was considerably better and didn’t feel like weird bragging.
This was an iTunes rental that you can probably miss unless you are just a diehard Smith fan and watch all his movies (even Tusk) and listen to all his podcasts.
