The Owners is the latest in the weird sub-genre of burglars or home invaders who bite off more than they can chew. In this one, a team of bargain basement burglars breaks into a rich couple’s mansion… only to have the owners return earlier than expected. The old coots have their own screws a little loose and suspense and horror ensue.

Solid, suspenseful for the first two acts but falls down hard in an overly-long, poorly paced final act. Wish I’d be able to rate this one higher but I just can’t get around how silly and annoying it got there at the end.
