The sick, sad thing is Love Forever is not actually that bad a Swedish Netflix movie… it’s just bland, boring, predictable, and not even funny. Like, I’m not sure it’s a comedy kind of romantic comedy. And yet the genre claims it so.

It’s about couple about to get married where their family will meet each other for the first time. Everyone has ideas about how the wedding should go and the couple begin to wonder if its all worth it (at least this weekend).

And, yeah, it’s generally about the couple, their crazy parents, and some of their friends in subplots of their own. It’s got a little mother-of-the-groom-zilla stuff going on that approaches humorous but really just feels more sad and hopeless.

I… genuinely have nothing further to say. It’s kind of a harmless movie and probably deserves a better rating, but it’s also so much of a nothing that it deserves some points off for futility.
