Netflix’s Delicious is a German film about a rich family that vacations forever in France. One night they hit a woman with their car and decide to hire her as their servant… which I guess makes a kind of sense that’s not. Clearly she’s up to no good… eventually. Will this movie get to the point? Or end? Or do anything?

The answer is no… nothing sordid or thrilling or chilling happens for waaaay too long for a film categorized as a thriller. And we, the audience, know something Single Spanish Female or Talented Ms. Ripley is bound to happen but it takes an age and a day to get there.

Meanwhile, none of these people are very interesting and none of the events are any more interesting than the mopes. It’s a staggering waste of time when better movies that play in the same sandbox are already out there.
