Saw the remake of About Last Night… a romantic comedy with no hooks or gimmicks… just a relationship movie with ups and downs. It’s not a bad movie and these are fairly mature adults with adult issues (and adult language). It got draggy though but your tolerance will determine how well this works. Kevin Hart is second banana and while his character is annoying, he is entertaining (which is a first for me). Michael Ealy – aka a RoboCop on the tv show Almost Human – is the lead and is quite likable. Overall, it’s not a bad time at the movies…. just seems to go on for a little too long for the story being told.
