It’s not high art, but I watched the movie Big-Ass Spider on streaming today… AND you already know if you’ll watch it or not based on that title.

It’s a cute low-budget giant spider horror/comedy movie that’s better than it has any right to be. I mean, it’s basically a Sci-Fi Channel movie only done well while still being a super-cheesy Sci-Fi Channel-style movie (you know, like Sharknado, Ice Spider, etc). It’s kind of funny, occasionally creepy, and it has a giant spider attacking downtown LA.

Stars Greg Grunberg from Felicity, Alias, and that pilot of Lost (where he played the pilot). And that guy who played the devil in that one tv show and Laura Palmer’s dad on Twin Peaks.
