Just what we need… the gritty, morose reboot of both Peter Pan AND Alice in Wonderland. Any such reboot of one of these materials is sometimes too much… but add both characters in and I think I want to watch something with Disney on it just to remind myself about good, happy things.

I was, at first, pretty upbeat about the film – it really got the idea of what it’s like to be a carefree, imaginative child. But then it just became a great big bummer… and then it became a slog.
