Checked out the limited release/digital rental horror comedy Cooties. In this flick, contaminated chicken nuggets cause 4th graders to go crazy, scratching their school chums, and they all turn on the teachers and eat them. Yes, elementary school zombies. It has a few lol moments and the cast has a lot of “hey, that guy!” – Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson, Alison Pill, Jack McBreyer, and Jorge Garcia among a few lesser known folks. It’s all in bad taste of course (it is about cannibalistic children) and it’s a lukewarm review, depending on your tolerance for off-kilter, gimmicky horror comedies.
