Despicable Me 2 is pretty much as good as, as funny as, as cute as, and as adorable as the first movie… which is to say, I found it an alright movie with some good laughs, visual gags, and adorable and charming kids. I’m not a huge fan of these movies but they are appealing nonetheless. This one focuses a bit on Groo and his lady troubles on top of the super villain plot (which was less interesting than the relationship plot). Minions are their usual funny filler.
