I caught the direct-to-streaming/limited theatrical release sci-fi found footage movie The Europa Project… a movie about a disastrous manned mission to Europa, one of Jupiter’s moons that has promise of liquid oceans under the ice mantle. It was marketed as being scientifically believable which it ultimately is and that’s nice to see… too bad the budget clearly wasn’t there (there’s only so much I can handle EVAs where the camera is facing the actor’s face (helmet-cam) and not what the character is seeing and doing). But it’s a decent movie of its type… and quite a bit better than the more pedestrian horror flick Apollo 18 (found footage movie of the disastrous moon landing).
