Saw The Fifth Estate… the Julian Assange / Wikileaks movie about the rise of the website and how they revealed all those military /state department secrets. It’s a movie that really wants to be as dynamic and smart as The Social Network and succeeds for maybe the first 20-30 minutes. The next 5 hours of the movie are a slog (ok, the next 1 1/2 hours). This is just a boring, aimlessly wandering movie that needed to punch up the pace, editing, writing, or something. It was tedious.
