Also so the historically accurate Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Yes, this is a real thing. Hansel and Gretel get kidnapped, kill the witch, grow up, arm themselves with rapid-fire stake throwers, Gatling guns, phonographs (?), and hunt witches throughout… 16? 17th? 18?th century Europe? Yes, this is as bad as you think… though I give it a few points for some actually funny dialog (anachronistic, of course) and a medical condition that is the logical outgrowth of being locked up in a candy house as a kid and forced to eat candy to get fattened up (the condition required regular injections from a huge, steampunk needle). I can compare it to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter… with Lincoln being the better movie but Hansel and Gretel realizing it’s a joke and playing it for some laughs.
