Hot Tub Time Machine 2 is such an irrelevant, unfunny experience which didn’t make me laugh even once but wasn’t awful or boring enough to generate any scorn. It’s crude so if you like your comedy dumb and blue, you might find something amusing. As is, I found it so pointless, unfunny, and meh that I might as well not have seen it. Not bad enough to hate nor good enough to even credit for much of anything.

For the record, I did think the first movie was largely a missed opportunity based on a knowingly dumb idea… it had merit but missed more jokes than it hit… but at least it hit some jokes.
