So, I saw Magic Mike today… not my kind of movie, apparently. I couldn’t even appreciate the dancing because it was all so stripper-club skeevy (and, you know, a bunch of dudes). And it wasn’t as much about ambition and trying to make a good life which I thought was going to anchor the movie… and then they toss in a boring crime story at the end. As I’m neither female, nor gay, nor impressed by skeevy strip club dancing, so I guess I wasn’t the target audience! Mathew McCaughnehey fans, however, will be happy… especially at the end.
