Also caught (before it goes direct to video in a week) the new corporate espionage thriller Paranoia – the high-stakes, high-tension movie about battling cell phone companies. The only real saving grace here is that the supporting cast includes Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, and Richard Dreyfuss… but it’s otherwise a fairly dumb movie that seems to be under the mistaken impression its a smart movie (and it needed to be if it wanted to make a download progress bar thrilling). It’s a competently made movie with some ok acting… and the bland, non-entity that is Liam Hemsworth as the tech genius superstar.
