Boo! Saw Paranormal Activity 4 – and it’s the worst of the lot of films (which really kind of take patience to enjoy). I give it credit for being a continuation of the first two films (with 3 being a prequel that tries to explain parts 1 and 2)… but ultimately the movie was just boring. 80 minutes of cheap setup and random boo scares followed by a pretty good end sequence that ends with yet another found-footage non-ending ending. But, hey, this movie lets us know that the Microsoft Xbox Kinect sensor is pure eeeeevil! (evil I tell ya). Good use of its infrared beam… but, more to the point, the little kid at risk of possession had late-night conversations with it. Because it’s EEEEEEVIL!!!!! (evil!)
