Saw the new drama Philomena, a true story about an old Irish lady (Judy Densch) who is looking for the child some terrible nuns took away from her 50 years earlier. Good-natured and funny with some moving and thoughtful scenes. Not great but the acting was and there’s some shattering and fantastic individual moments. Also, the actors do a bang-up job – especially Judy Densch (as usual).
