They remade Red Dawn – N. Koreans invade Spokane, Washington (and the NW in general) and only a bunch of teens (and a US marine on break – played by Thor) must fight back… and it’s pretty average to stupid. The original 1980s movie hasn’t really aged well from a production value/budget standpoint and this movie is better in that regards… but, yeah, it’s rather dull and seems to be making side suggestions that the N. Koreans are similar to Americans in Iraq (at least based on the orange jumpsuits the American prisoners are wearing) yet it also wants to be rah-rah America!! It’s all a little confused and poorly written or edited (and sometimes terrible acting).
