Buddy Cop movie Ride Along starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube is a fairly mediocre comedy… but not a total disaster. Your tolerance for this flick is probably going to be based on how funny you find the Ruby Rhod level of annoyance that is Kevin Hart… a screechy, cartoon character big mouth… who is short. Because he’s short and that’s funny… apparently he’s short. Did you hear Kevin Hart is short? Because he’s short. Anyhow, the flick has a few funny and clever moments but ultimately it was too long, too predictable, and too not funny. See The Heat… that’s a textbook on how to do buddy cop movies right.
