Yeah, Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck slumming it in Runner Runner is about as meh as it could be. You’ve seen it before in any number of other crime movies… young guy seduced by money blah blah blah gets in too deep blah blah blah can the gangster moll be trusted blah blah FBI on his tail blah blah blah crocodiles! blah blah plays both sides sides blah blah can he get out? It’s not bad enough to be fun and its too mediocre to be bad.
