Steve Carell and Keira Knightly star in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World… billed as a kind of romantic comedy, it’s really more of a romance with comedy and tragedy. An asteroid will hit Earth in 21 days and there’s no chance of deflecting it… what do you do? Answer, hook up with the odd British bird across the hall, get out of the city before the riots, and go on a road trip during the last days on Earth. Not a bad movie and Knightly really surprises me with her acting – it’s ultimately a sweet and melancholy little movie.
