Caught the low budget horror/SF head-trip The Signal, starring a few people and Lawrence Fishburn. It’s kind of about a trio of young adults who get caught up in some kind of government lab experiment after stumbling upon “the signal” out in the desert… whatever that is. And whatever is going on in the movie. It does, ultimately, explain itself but getting to that explanation is kind of obtuse and ponderous, full of non-explanations, weird acting, and odd imagery. I kind of liked it but it’s a tough recommendation.
