Caught the new film about Steve Jobs – which’d be about the third one with yet another on the way. This one is Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine and it’s a documentary. Kind of schizophrenic documentary that’s half about Jobs, half about Apple… and neither half is 100% of the story or told in complete way. I give the film this much credit – it spends some time honoring the guy and even more time expressing what kind of human shitheel he was… Which is nice that it showed the bad side of the guy too and not just in ways like how he parked in handicapped parking spots or disavowed his own daughter. It goes into worker safety, stock manipulation, and other things that, for example, the previous films or his biography didn’t go into.
Not a bad documentary but hardly a particularly good one either.
