Terminator Salvation is massively stupid, poorly written, illogical junk. There are so many moments where you stop and say, “but…wait…”. Hard to enjoy a movie when it’s constantly just dumb.

Looks incredible though – insanely good looking movie. Not just the awesome FX but the visual shots of the film. Really solid filmmaking.
But the script and the direction was piss-poor, substupid idiocy.

No one in Terminator Salvation is much of a person – not much of a character. If this is John Connor as an adult, then why in hell doesn’t he FEEL like John Connor? Why are there only vague passing references to ANY event in his past – he seems to know about the T800 (they haven’t been invented yet) but it doesn’t seem like its any more than something he read about somewhere. Or something.

The last 20 minutes or so were actually pretty good – a fight in the Skynet HQ. It had some dumbass moments too but at least it was well-paced…
