Saw Thor: The Dark World… a movie that happened. It was an acceptable story with acceptable action and a slightly creative action climax and then a roll-your-dice random ending. It’s best trait is a pretty decent sense of humor (and great FX) but the movie just seems like something that happened and then I moved on and am already forgetting it. Given that its got a Great Big Epic Storyline (compared to the first Thor, especially), it seemed kind of small… and with a random roll-the-die (Dark Elves!) villain that just aren’t interesting or relevant. Loki is good but he falls into the “sense of humor is the best trait” category. Some nice nods to the other Avengers movies (also, once again, falling into the funny side).
