(Un)lucky Sisters is an Argentinian Netflix comedy that lacks a lot of core things to make a comedy… namely laughs but also interesting characters.
It’s about two sisters from other mothers whose estranged dad has died. They don’t know each other very well but they go to his very nice apartment to settle his affairs. And find a boatload ill-gotten money.
I laughed never in the course of this movie… leaving the plot and the characters its only saving grace. And they didn’t save anything. Neither sister is particularly interesting as characters or as bickering family. The actual plot is, I suppose, refreshing in that its not over-dramatized or action-y… but what it is just isn’t interesting.
This film is just a blah. It isn’t interesting or funny on any level, including the main characters. Moving on.
