Went to see the new indie comedy/drama The Way Way Back – it’s a wonderful, fun, and funny slice ‘o life, coming-of-age type movie about an awkward 14 year old boy on summer vacation with his mom and her dbag boyfriend (Steve Carrell) and how he finds acceptance and strength with (among others) the cute girl next door (played by the cute girl next door AnnaSophia Robb from Bridge to Terrabithia) and the employees of the local water park (played by the awesome Sam Rockwell and Maya Rudolph). This is a clever, subtle, and funny movie that I highly recommend.
