Also rented the movie Mr. Right starring Anna Kendrick, Sam Rockwell, and Tim Roth. It’s a little movie about Kendrick, bouncing back from a bad breakup, running into a wacky weirdo played by Sam Rockwell. Rockwell tells her he’s an international assassin and they have a good laugh. Except he actually is an international assassin.
This is reasonably cute romantic comedy action flick. There’s much better movies out there and better movies in this weird sub-genre but there’s a lot to be said for Kendrick’s adorkable personality carrying a film. And Rockwell just being a hyper-kinetic weirdo who kills people who try to hire him (it’s a short story but I’ll let the film tell it). He does this with a dance in his step and a clown nose on his beak.
I can’t recommend it highly but it’s not a disaster either. If you see it popup on iTunes or wherever, it might be worth watching.
