Woof… this was a tough sit for this kid. I really, really, really (did I mention really?) disliked this movie. And that shouldn’t be a surprise… I hated the first one in the series so not sure what snapped in my brain to bother with the sequel. I guess it was either this or go on a murderous interstate rampage, amiright?

So the sequel kind of starts out promising in that the Addams Family is going on cross-country vacation. I was thinking, “cool… but why not call this Addams Family Vacation”… but whatever. They didn’t pay me to think for them.

So I was at first hopeful that we’d just get a series of amusing vignettes based at various famous American locations, tourist traps, etc. And that’s kind of what it is… but unfortunately that didn’t make the movie any better. And I still hate this interpretation and the bad jokes and the pacing.

I know, I know. Wrong target market. I shouldn’t be so mean to a kids movie. Fine.
