Curvature

Not even sure if I should review this one, but rented the sci-fi flick Curvature on iTunes and A) you’ve never heard of it, and B) It’s terrible. So, yeah, might as well not read this, much less me type it.

Starring no one (except Linda Hamilton in a bit of sad stunt casting), it’s a time travel movie about a scientist who travels back in time and forgets why (because: time travel)… or maybe there’s a copy of her that traveled back in time and that’s why she doesn’t know why there’s another her running around. Or something. Now evil agents are after her and she doesn’t know (or can’t remember) why.

The acting is terrible, especially from the leading lady. I’m not sure if she’s bad or the dialog is bad or a combination of the two but she rarely says anything convincing. The time travel stuff is pretty abstract and only makes any sense (and actually impacts the plot, really) at the very end. And the movie is just BORING. And laughable. But not in a fun way.

So, yeah, don’t rent this movie you weren’t going to rent anyway.
