Checked out Tales of Halloween on iTunes streaming (new release, limited theatrical). This is an anthology of Halloween-themed horror shorts. I wish I could say I liked it – there are ten movies so there’s plenty of chances to find a few good ones and a couple were kind of fun… like the one where the Jason-like slasher encounters UFO aliens and they fight or another about a killer jack-o-lantern. Unfortunately too many of the shorts were too long for their 10 minute run-time and barely creeped to a remotely satisfying ending. There were far too many misses and not enough hits.

Too bad.
