Punch-Drunk Love

Goddamn Brilliant.

That’s what Punch Drunk Love is. Totally unpredictable and exhilarating in its direction and editing – you can feel the anxiety oozing from the screen so when Sandler goes off on his usual rage, you can understand it and it’s not unpredictable (yet the movie itself is highly unpredictable). Acting is fantastic – from Sandler as well as Emily Watson.

And, except for Wedding Singer, I really don’t like Adam Sandler flicks – but this is a Paul Thomas Anderson flick emulating in an artistic way the moronic Sandler flicks.

Watch it. And beware the harmonium.
